EchoThread is a one-person product. Build-in-public, no VC, no surveillance ad model — a comment platform built for the open web instead of the engagement economy.

I'm an indie developer building a small portfolio of products in public — tools that do one thing well and don't sell their users' data to do it. EchoThread is the comment platform I wish existed when I was running my own blog.

Most comment platforms either inject ads, ship 700 KB of tracking JavaScript, or require every reader to sign in with GitHub. EchoThread sits in the gap: hosted backend, ML spam filtering, three sign-in options, and a moderation dashboard you'd actually want to use — without selling out the readers.

Reach me at hi@echothread.io Bug reports, feature ideas, and "hey, this works for me" notes all welcome.
